about
the
work

This sculpture continues Salehian’s recent work where sculpting the direct likeness of things, as duplicate or portrait is a form of meeting, a slippage between the 'thing in itself' and an instrument to think with connecting to the larger predicament of being in the world. This work is a 1:1 maquette.

bio
