Sometimes art comments on the world outside us and sometimes on the world inside the artist.
“Incoming” is a comment on both simultaneously using found materials collected over decades.
Bio
Lucy Barker is a Sydney based artist best known for her eclectic sculptural practice. Barker has exhibited in Sculpture ByThe Sea 12 times and was an artist in residence at Q Station in 2021, in collaboration with Jane Gillings.
